With the 2022 college baseball season drawing near, one of the biggest returning pieces for defending national champion Mississippi State is right-hander Landon Sims, one of the top pitchers in the entire country.
A standout reliever for the Bulldogs, Sims is a former prep star in the state of Georgia who played at South Forsyth High School where he was a multi-time All-American selection. One of the top college prospects available in the upcoming MLB Draft, Sims also played with Team Elite where he was rated by Perfect Game as the No. 5 player in the state of Georgia in the Class of 2019.
