Where are they Now? Top 2021 Georgia High School Baseball Prospects

Where are they Now

Georgia High School Baseball saw a special group of seniors across the state a year ago, many of which would have since gone on to play at both the collegiate and professional level. As for some of the top players from across the state last season, where are they now? (Rankings courtesy of Perfect Game’s Class of 2021 Georgia State Rankings).

Brady House

The former Winder-Barrow and Team Elite standout was selected 11th overall by the Nationals in the first round of the 2021 MLB Draft, where House is currently rated as Washington’s No. 2 prospect and the No. 54 overall prospect in baseball. House enjoyed a strong start to his professional career toward the end of last season, slashing .322/.394/.576 with four home runs and 12 RBI’s across 16 games in the Florida Complex League.

Harry Ford

Similar to House previously, Ford was also selected in the first round of the 2021 MLB Draft, with the North Cobb and East Cobb Astros catcher going after House to the Seattle Mariners at 12th overall. Seattle’s No. 5 prospect, as well as the No. 98 overall prospect in baseball, Ford appeared in 19 games in the Arizona Complex League posting a .982 OPS with three home runs, 10 RBI’s, and three stolen bases.

Bubba Chandler

The North Oconee two-sport star who played with the East Cobb Yankees was selected by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the third round of the 2021 MLB Draft, where Chandler is now rated as the club’s No. 8 prospect. Chandler appeared in 11 games a year ago in the Florida Complex League, posting a .624 OPS with a home run.
