Byron Buxton: Where is the Former Georgia Prep Star now?

One of the top players to come from the state of Georgia across the past decade came back in 2012 is former Appling County outfielder Byron Buxton. One of the top overall players in the country out of high school, where is the former Round Trip Baseball star now?

Selected No. 2 overall in the 2012 MLB Draft by the Minnesota Twins, Buxton would make his major league debut in 2015, where he was regarded as the No. 1 overall prospect in baseball at the time. Having spent every year of his career in Minnesota, Buxton is entering year eight of his MLB career where he has so far appeared in a total of 493 career games with a .761 OPS, 70 home runs, and 71 stolen bases, as well as having won a Gold and Platinum Glove.
