If you have dreams or aspirations of one day playing in the MLB or even in college, playing travel baseball can be an important step in that process. While it doesn’t hurt you if you do not play, you get mass exposure and experience playing against the best players if you do choose to play. In fact, some of the greatest current MLB players have played travel baseball.
