Top 6 Class of 2024 Quarterback Recruits

Similar to previous classes, the Class of 2024 is shaping up to be a special one for talent at quarterback, with six names in particular drawing attention around the country. No, there isn’t a household name such as Arch Manning, but make no mistake, this group has the potential to be truly elite. Here are the top six quarterback recruits in the Class of 2024.

Jadyn Davis (Providence Day, NC)

Davis is rated as the No. 1 quarterback in the Class of 2024 according to the 247Sports Composite, as well as the No. 2 overall player nationally. The five-star is also rated as the No. 1 player in North Carolina, and holds offers from 25+ collegiate programs.

Julian Sayin (Carlsbad, CA)

The top-rated player in California, Sayin attends Carlsbad High School, where he threw for 2,769 yards with 34 touchdowns to only five interceptions a year ago. The five-star prospect holds offers from over 20 collegiate programs.

Dylan Raiola (Chandler, AZ)

Railoa, the top player in Arizona and one of the best-known high school athletes today, is certainly in the debate – along with Davis – over who is the nation’s top 2024 prospect. The five-star prospect is a coveted quarterback recruit who recently committed to Ohio State, and is coming off a sophomore season in which he threw for 3,341 yards and 32 touchdowns with only five interceptions.

DJ Lagway (Willis, TX)

One of the top Class of 2024 names in the talent-rich state of Texas, Lagway is the top quarterback of that group. A multi-sport athlete at Willis High School, he threw for 1,579 yards with 17 touchdowns a year ago, and rushed for 715 yards and six more scores.

CJ Carr (Saline, MI)

Carr, the top player in Michigan, is a five-star prospect who holds offers from almost 20 collegiate programs across the country. Among that list are Big Ten schools such as Michigan, Michigan State, Penn State, and Wisconsin, as well as Notre Dame.

Elijah Brown (Mater Dei, CA)

The starting quarterback for one of high school football’s top teams, California’s Mater Dei, Brown burst onto the scene with a phenomenal sophomore campaign in 2021. The four-star prospect threw for 2,581 yards a year ago for the Monarchs, with 30 touchdowns to only six interceptions.
