The 2022 college baseball season is now officially in full-swing, and there are few players impressing more early on than North Carolina State’s Tommy White. Having hit nine home runs and driven in 29 runs across his first eight games of the season, the freshman could also be a familiar name to fans of high school baseball.
Tommy White played high school baseball at IMG Academy, graduating last year as a member of the Class of 2021. Selected as a Perfect Game All-American where he was also ranked as the No. 18 player nationally (No. 1 third baseman), as well as the No. 2 player in the state of Florida, White appeared in 25 games a year ago with the Ascenders where he slashed .378/.462/.662 with three home runs and 21 RBI’s.
