Meassick, Grubbs Produce Stellar Florida High School Week 4 Performances

Headlined by strong quarterback play, here are some of Florida high school football’s top performances from Week 4 of the 2023 season.

QB Sabby Meassick (Tohopekaliga)

Meassick turned in one of the best Florida high school Week 4 performances by completing 44-of-53 attempts for 485 yards and 6 touchdowns, while also rushing for 13 yards on one attempt in the Tigers’ 41-19 win over St. Cloud.

QB Noah Grubbs (Lake Mary)

Grubbs also had one of the biggest performances of Florida high school Week 4 as he completed 19-of-29 passes for 348 yards and 5 touchdowns in Lake Mary’s 35-2 win over Lake Brantley.

QB Ennio Yapoor (Norland)

Yapoor completed 15-of-20 passes for 214 yards and 2 touchdowns in Norland’s 42-7 win over Monsignor Pace. The junior also rushed for 65 yards and 2 more scores on 7 attempts.

RB Amari Clemons (Marianna)

Clemons rushed for 86 yards and 2 touchdowns on 5 attempts in Marianna’s 60-28 win over Rutherford. The sophomore also had 3 receptions for 83 yards and 2 more scores.

QB Jackson LaTour (Oviedo)

The senior completed 19-of-27 passes for 378 yards and 4 touchdowns, while also rushing for a score in Oviedo’s 42-35 win over Heritage.

RB Emarian Triplett (Pinellas Park)

Triplett rushed for 179 yards on 27 attempts in Pinellas Park’s 37-14 win over Lakewood.

RB Roberto Venero (Seminole Ridge)

The senior had possibly his best showing of the 2023 season in Seminole Ridge’s 34-0 win over Palm Beach Lakes, rushing for 159 yards and 3 touchdowns on 18 attempts.

RB Devin Blunt (Strawberry Crest)

Blunt rushed for 132 yards and 3 touchdowns on 20 attempts, while also catching a pass for 8 yards in Strawberry Crest’s 40-0 shutout win over Leto.

QB Ty Robinson (Steinbrenner)

Robinson completed 25-of-40 passes for 353 yards and 3 touchdowns, and he rushed for 6 yards and a score in Steinbrenner’s 31-10 win over Lennard.

LB Ty Jackson (Seminole Ridge)

Jackson was a key factor in the Hawks’ 34-0 shutout win over Palm Beach Lakes, compiling 18 tackles and an INT.

DL Caleb Turner-Allen (Dr. Krop)

The senior had 6 tackles, 3 TFL, and 2 sacks in Dr. Krop’s 40-6 win over Avant Garde.

WR Jeremiah Smith (Chaminade-Madonna)

Smith had 6 receptions for 82 yards and 2 touchdowns in Chaminade-Madonna’s 28-16 win over American Heritage.

QB AJ Hairston (Monarch)

Hairston completed 9-of-11 passes for 232 yards and 2 touchdowns, and he rushed for 20 yards on 1 attempt in Monarch’s 32-6 win over Piper.
