Is Andruw Jones the No. 1 Player in the Country?

Andruw Jones

As the focus begins to shift to the Class of 2022 after the 2021 MLB Draft, there are multiple different options to be labeled as the No. 1 overall player. However, an excellent case can be made for outfielder Andruw Jones.

The son of Atlanta Braves legend Andruw Jones, the Suwanee, Georgia, native has shined for years on the diamond and now finds himself rated as the No. 4 overall player in the Class of 2022, according to Perfect Game.

A standout at the Wesleyan School (GA), Jones is regarded as one of the top prospects in next year’s MLB Draft and is a career .435 hitter with 10 home runs and 177 RBIs across 227 Perfect Game tournament games.
