Here are our top performers from the 2026 GHSA girls basketball state championships.
Heritage forward Paisley Collins, a sophomore, tied the score with just over a minute remaining in overtime, then scored on a backdoor layup with 21 seconds left to give the Generals their first lead of the game and the win in the Class 3A state championship. Collins finished with 17 points and nine rebounds.
North Paulding forward Morgan Landrum, a junior, pulled down 21 rebounds to go along with 17 points, four assists, five steals, and two blocks in the Lady Wolfpack’s 64-58 win in the Class 6A state championship game.
North Paulding junior Kalee Hinkson scored 19 points, including a half-court shot at the end of the third quarter, to lead the Lady Wolfpack to a 64-58 win over Grayson in the Class 6A state finals.
Creekview guard Kailyn Hamby, a senior, led all scorers with 20 points and added six rebounds, two assists, and two steals to lead the Grizzlies to their first state championship.
Grayson guard Coco Rudolph, a senior, scored 32 of her team’s 58 points in the Lady Rams’ Class 6A state championship game against North Paulding.
East Laurens senior Deanna Lowther scored 18 points and pulled down 12 rebounds to lead the Falcons to the Class 1A-Division I state championship over Elbert County.
Marist guard Kate Harpring, a senior, scored 40 points and grabbed 16 rebounds to lead the lady War Eagles to a 58-50 win over Kell in the Class 4A state championship game. Harpring also became the GHSA all-time leading scorer when she converted a field goal with four minutes left in the first quarter.
Wilcox County junior Tyliah Benjamin led the Patriots with 20 points, 14 rebounds, two assists, three steals, and five blocks in a 48-39 win over Washington-Wilkes in the Class 1A-Division II state championship.
Murray County senior Callan Ledford scored 19 points, pulled down two rebounds, had two assists, and came up with four steals in the Lady Indians’ Class 2A state championship win.
Hebron Christian guard Mia Huckaby, a junior, led the Lions to the Private state championship with 14 points and scored her 1,000th career point in the 46-42 win over Holy Innocents’.
