Bryce Rainer Rising in Class of 2024 Rankings
The lone notable riser among the Top 10 overall players in the updated Class of 2024 rankings by Perfect Game was shortstop Bryce Rainer. Rainer, a California native, is up to No. 7 in the rankings and could continue to rise even more.
Rainer is a UCLA commit and attends Harvard-Westlake High School, but has also played for multiple travel baseball teams. His most recent was with MVP Hustle. Rainer is not only a strong shortstop with a smooth left-handed swing, but also a strong pitcher, too, with a strong curveball.
While it is still early on in the high school baseball career for Rainer, he appears to be a player to keep an eye on for the next 1-2 years.
