After looking at some of Alabama’s top uncommitted 2024 prospects a week ago, let’s flip that script to the Sunshine State and take a peek at some of Florida high school football’s top 2024 recruits who are still available. (Players listed were uncommitted as of September 9. Recruiting rankings according to 247Sports Composite.)
IOL Jordan Seaton (IMG Academy)
Arguably the biggest name along a loaded IMG Academy offensive front, Seaton is Florida high school football’s highest-ranked 2024 prospect who is currently uncommitted. One of the best interior offensive linemen in the country, Seaton, a highly rated four-star prospect, has interest from major collegiate programs such as Alabama, Florida, Oklahoma, and South Carolina.
DB Zavier Mincey (Mainland)
One of Florida’s more versatile defensive backs, Mincey is a four-star prospect who is among the top players for 2022 Class 3S runner-up Mainland. Mincey holds 30+ collegiate offers, including three prominent in-state programs: Florida, Florida State, and Miami.
CB Jamari Howard (Norland)
Yet another notable uncommitted 2024 defensive back in Florida at the moment is Howard, a four-star prospect who spent the last couple of seasons at Hialeah Westland before making a move to Norland this fall. The cornerback also has more than 30 collegiate offers, with in-state programs such as Florida, Florida State, and Miami all in the mix.
DL LJ McCray (Mainland)
The second Mainland player on this list of top Florida high school 2024 prospects, McCray is a four-star defensive lineman on the 2022 Class 3S state runner-up squad. McCray, who has played both ways during his high school career, also has 30+ collegiate offers, headlined by programs such as Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, and Miami.
EDGE Booker Pickett Jr. (Wharton)
One of Florida high school football’s most productive pass rushers a year ago, Pickett is rated as a four-star edge rusher at Wharton. The senior has countless collegiate offers, including Florida State, Georgia, Miami, and more.
IOL Eddy Pierre-Louis (Tampa Catholic)
The second offensive lineman here is Pierre-Louis, a four-star prospect at Class 2M’s Tampa Catholic. A player who has also seen time on both sides of the ball, Pierre-Louis has a lengthy offer list that includes Alabama, Oklahoma, Oregon, and UCF.
EDGE Solomon Williams (Carrollwood Day)
The final Florida high school football 2024 prospect on our list of top Florida high school 2024 prospects is Williams, a four-star edge rusher at Carrollwood Day. A prospect who has only continued to rise in recent months, Williams has a lengthy offer list that includes the likes of Alabama and Texas, among others.
