1. George Lamons Jr. | Brooks County | C/O 2027

Brooks County’s George Lamons Jr. is in a class by himself, which puts him atop our list as the best overall tight end entering the 2026 Georgia high school football season.

Lamons is committed to Texas A&M.

2. Grant Haviland | Milton | C/O 2027

Grant Haviland is a four-star recruit and the latest in a long line of top tight ends to come through the Milton program. Under head coach Ben Reaves, Milton has developed players at the position as well as anyone in the country.

Haviland will be headed to Vanderbilt following his upcoming senior season with the Eagles.

3. Carter Blackwell | Lee County | C/O 2027

Lee County’s Carter Blackwell was one of the most heavily recruited tight ends in the state with offers from Miami, West Virginia, and many other Division I schools. Blackwell will be attending Clemson following his senior year.

4. Xévien Brinson | Stephenson | C/O 2028

Xévien Brinson is preparing for his junior season with the Stephenson Jaguars and is already considered one of the best in the country at his position.

Last season he had 30 catches with six touchdowns.

According to 247Sports, Brinson has 35 college offers, including Alabama and Florida.

5. Kellen Palmer | Loganville | C/O 2029

Kellen Palmer is a Class of 2029 tight end from Loganville who already has offers from several major college programs, including Boston College, Florida State, and Georgia.

6. CJ Jordan II | Walton | C/O 2027

CJ Jordan II, a 6-foot-6 senior tight end for the Walton Raiders, has committed to North Carolina State after receiving over a dozen college offers.

7. Max Patterson | North Gwinnett | C/O 2027

Max Patterson is preparing for his senior season with North Gwinnett.

He committed to the Pitt Panthers in May after mulling over approximately 35 college programs that had made offers to the Bulldogs’ tight end.

8. Mason Hall | Oconee County | C/O 2027

Mason Hall is our No. 8 tight end entering the 2026 Georgia high school football season. The 6-foot-4, 220-pound tight end also serves as the Oconee County Warriors’ long snapper.

Hall has committed to Virginia.

9. Joshua Pettigrew | Houston County | C/O 2027

At 6-foot-5 and 230 pounds, Houston County tight end Joshua Pettigrew is a real headache for opposing defenses.

The three-star recruit will be one of the targets in the Bears’ passing game while serving as a run blocker with his intimidating size.

Pettigrew, a senior, recently committed to Georgia Tech after receiving approximately 35 college offers.

10. Asa Wall | John Milledge Academy | C/O 2028

Rounding out our top 10 is John Milledge tight end Asa Wall, who is the son of head coach JT Wall.

Just as his father did, Asa Wall has decided to attend the University of Georgia following graduation.
