Key Roster Losses
Lee County enters the 2026 season without last year’s leading tackler in Lasiah Jackson. The talented defender, along with defensive lineman Martin Atkins, linebacker Jayden Hudson, and running back Canton Williams, has graduated.
Key Players Returning
The Trojans have quite a lot of talent returning this season, including several key positions on the defensive side of the ball.
The linebacker corps will have standouts Jace Murray, Greg Batson, Preston Manriquez, and Karson Cook all back.
The defensive backfield has three-year starters Trey Bush and Montravious Clay back, as well as Alex “Champ” Brown and KJ Streeter.
Up front the Trojans return KJ Johnson.
On offense the team will return two receivers who may very well be the best in the state at their positions in wide receiver Jaden Upshaw and tight end Carter Blackwell. Fellow receivers Destin Bell and Amari Weston will also return.
In the backfield, Lee County will welcome back running back Dominique Ball and quarterbacks Jordan Bush and Bryson Crawford.
Most of the offensive line is back with Shavezz Dixon, Larry Jackson, Larry Mosley, and Kaison Moore all returning.
What to Expect From the Lee County Trojans in 2026
Head coach Dean Fabrizio will be heading into the 2026 season with a talented team with tons of experience.
“Expectations are always high here in Leesburg, and this year will be no exception,” Fabrizio said. “We’ve got a veteran team coming back this year and one of the most talented groups we’ve had in a while.
“Our spring and summer workouts went very well. We had a lot of kids compete, and we’re really excited about this season.”
