Top 10 Quarterback-Wide Receiver Duos Entering 2025 Georgia High School Football Season

1. Stephen Cannon & Bubba Frazier | Benedictine

Defensive coordinators opposing Benedictine this season will be up at night trying to game plan how to stop the Cadets duo of quarterback Stephen Cannon and top target Bubba Frazier. The seniors will give Benedictine and head coach Danny Britt one of the most formidable quarterback-wide receiver tandems in Georgia high school football in 2025.

2. Harrison Faulkner & Dallas Dickerson | North Oconee

Harrison Faulkner and Dallas Dickerson were two of the big reasons for North Oconee’s undefeated 2024 season and the Titans’ first state championship in school history. They’re back for the 2025 season, and Georgia Southern commit Faulkner and Kentucky commit Dickerson will be doing their part to help their team make a run at the repeat in Class 4A.

3. Travis Burgess & Johnathon Stafford | Grayson

Quarterback Travis Burgess has enjoyed one of the biggest offseasons in the state. He had a standout performance in the Elite 11 in Los Angeles and announced that he’ll be attending North Carolina following the 2025 Georgia high school football season.

Of course, there’s the business of trying to get Grayson back to the Class 6A state championship game in 2025. He’ll have three-star receiver and Western Kentucky commit Johnathon Stafford as a top target in Grayson’s passing attack this year as the Rams try for the repeat in Georgia’s highest classification.

4. Michael Johnson & Aaron Gregory | Douglas County

New Douglas County quarterback Mike Johnson will have a receiver considered to be the state’s best to throw to this year in Aaron Gregory. If Gregory isn’t open, then Johnson can check down to No. 2 rated wide receiver Devin Carter. Gregory and Carter are ranked as the Top 2 wideouts in ITG Next’s preseason Top 10 wide receivers poll.

5. Jaylen Johnson & Jaydon Dunbar | Thomas County Central

Thomas County Central quarterback Jaylen Johnson will be surrounded by one of the most talented offensive units in the state, which includes Pitt commit Jaydon Dunbar as a top receiving target.

Jabari Watkins is another talented receiver that the TCC QB can look to.

6. Cayden Benson & Damien Henderson | Creekside

All-State quarterback Cayden Benson, a senior, will team up with wide receiver and fellow senior Damien Henderson again this year as the Creekside Seminoles try to capitalize on last year’s 10-win season. Henderson had 47 catches in 2024, and you can expect him to eclipse that total in 2025.

7. Mason Holtzclaw & Ryan Mosley | Carrollton

Mason Holtzclaw will have the unenviable task of taking over for Julian JuJu Lewis at quarterback for the Carrollton Trojans this year.

Helping the new QB in the Trojans’ passing game will be senior standout wide receiver Ryan Mosley, who has 86 catches and over 1,300 yards receiving the past two seasons. The three-star wideout has committed to the Georgia Bulldogs following his high school career.

8. Lyndon Worthy & Jayden Farley | Worth County

Worth County quarterback Lyndon Worthy threw for over 3,400 yards with 37 TDs last season. He’ll be back at it in 2025 with tight end and wide receiver Jayden Farley as his primary receiving target as the Rams look to capitalize on last year’s 9-4 season.

Farley is a TE-WR combo-type receiver, and he had 37 catches for 710 yards with nine TDs last season as one of the state’s top pass-catching TEs.

9. Makyree Cross & Atticus Joseph | Collins Hill

Get ready to see Collins Hill quarterback Makyree “Dudda” Cross hook up with wideout Atticus Joseph in the Eagles’ passing offense in 2025. Joseph, a three-star recruit and Stanford commit, will be counted on a lot in the Collins Hill offense this season.

10. Will Jackson & Sean Green | Camden County

Junior Will Jackson arrived at the Camden County camp this offseason from Florida, and the three-star, dual-threat quarterback will be looking to hook up with junior Sean Green, a four-star wide receiver who had 584 yards receiving on 48 catches last year in the Camden County offense. With two full seasons ahead to work on their timing, this pair could turn out to be one of the top QB-WR duos in the state by the time their high school careers have ended.

We’ll have fun watching them and all of our QB-WR duos this season.
