Here are our top 10 performers from recent action in the 2026 Georgia high school girls basketball season.
South Forsyth freshman Carib “The Pink Mamba” Morris broke two school records for the Eagles basketball program in their win over cross-county rival North Forsyth last Friday in Cumming. The guard hit eight 3-pointers and scored 41 points, both record-breaking performances, to lead South Forsyth to a 71-65 victory over the Raiders in an important region contest.
Parkview junior combo guard Baileigh Page led the Panthers in their recent win over Peachtree Ridge with an 11-point performance, while also snatching two rebounds, two assists, and defensively she had three steals in her team’s 47-29 victory.
Baldwin junior forward Suri Clark had a big week leading the Bravettes in consecutive wins over Hephzibah and West Laurens, leading the team in scoring both nights. Clark had 21 points, 13 rebounds, and three steals in Baldwin’s 51-32 victory over Hephzibah. Then in their most recent game against West Laurens, Clark had 20 points and pulled down 13 rebounds as Baldwin won 69-55.
Walton senior Allie Pekkanen has led her Raiders in recent games against North Gwinnett, St. Pius X, and North Cobb. She led the team in scoring in a 59-38 win over North Gwinnett with 12 points, including two 3-pointers. She also pulled down nine rebounds, four assists, and came away with two steals vs. the Bulldogs. She led the team in scoring with 16 points vs. the Warriors, and in her most recent game against St. Pius X she had 10 points, seven rebounds, and two assists.
Temple junior center Hailey Davis had two big games recently for her Tigers team, including a monster performance with a double-double to lead the Tigers to a 41-22 region victory over Haralson in their most recent game. Davis had 13 points, 13 rebounds, two steals, and three blocked shots against the Rebels. Then in Temple’s previous win, Davis pulled down 15 boards while adding nine points, two assists, and four steals in their 65-23 defeat of Mount Zion.
Cherokee Bluff seniors Audrey Graham and Claire Carlson led the Bears to a big win in their region opener against East Hall, as Graham led the team in scoring with 14 points while adding five rebounds, five assists, and three steals vs. the Vikings. Carlson scored 13 points to go along with her two rebounds, four assists, and four steals vs. East Hall. The win improved Cherokee Bluff’s overall record to 8-7 on the season. Carlson is the Bears’ all-time leading scorer and along with Graham, the dynamic duo continue to lead Cherokee Bluff down the stretch in the second half of the 2026 season.
Lanier junior forward Michelle Ezumah had a couple of standout performances in the Longhorns’ recent matchups against Union Grove and Seckinger High School. In Lanier’s 47-44 win over the Wolverines, Ezumah came up big with a double-double of 13 points and 10 rebounds. Then, against Seckinger, the physical Ezumah led the team in scoring with 17 points while adding eight rebounds, three assists, and had five steals despite falling to the Jaguars.
Brookwood senior combo guard Justyce McCoy had back-to-back strong performances for her Broncos girls basketball team, leading to consecutive wins. In Brookwood’s 34-29 victory over Norcross, McCoy scored 12 points while pulling down five rebounds and adding three steals vs. the Blue Devils. Then, a few days later, McCoy led the Broncos to a 45-22 win over rival North Gwinnett with 24 points, four rebounds, three assists, three steals, and one blocked shot.
Marietta junior guard Kyann Senior had a big night this past Friday with a double-double performance in Marietta girls basketball region victory over Etowah. The 2027 Class guard scored 14 points and added 14 rebounds to lead her team to the 65-51 win over the Eagles. Senior also had two steals to complete her standout performance.
