Recent Georgia Football Coaching Changes

Here’s the latest on recent Georgia football coaching changes.

Last week, Miguel Patrick announced his decision to leave Cedar Grove for 3A rival Crisp County, a team that has made the semifinals three of the last five years but came up empty with no state championships.

Bryan Lamar inherits a South Gwinnett team that hasn’t achieved a winning record in five years.

Lastly, Joey King, former coach to Clemson Tiger Trevor Lawrence, will move to Carrollton and attempt to lead the Trojans past the quarterfinals, which has been their Achilles heel the past five seasons.

Time will tell if these hires prove fruitful for these programs.
