Vestavia Hills Football Replaces Legendary Head Coach

Vestavia Hills football has officially hired their new leader. After legendary coach Buddy Anderson retired at the conclusion of the 2020 season, the Rebels were left looking for a head coach. The school administration and board of education found their man in Sean Calhoun. Calhoun is coming from Carrollton High School in Carrollton, Georgia. He will become just the seventh head football coach in Vestavia Hills history, after Anderson was at the helm since 1978. Calhoun was 51-12 in his five seasons as head coach of the Trojans.
