Girls basketball standout Lexie Bradford is ITG Next’s 2026 Coffee High School Female Athlete of the Year, presented by AgSouth Farm Credit.
Bradford was chosen for her outstanding performance this year as she led the Lady Trojans to a historic season. They finished undefeated in region play, winning Region 2-5A with a 10-0 record and making it to the final four for the first time in over 30 years with a 28-3 overall record.
It was actually the second straight season that Bradford led Coffee to a region championship and a deep run in the playoffs. Last year’s Coffee team finished 9-1 in region play and 27-2 overall, advancing to the Sweet 16.
Coffee girls basketball head coach Tasha Kellogg said Bradford was a big reason for the Trojans’ success.
“During her senior season, Lexie Bradford was a key leader for the Coffee High Lady Trojans, showcasing her talent, determination, and commitment on the court,” Kellogg said. “She consistently made an impact on both ends of the floor, helping guide our team through a great season.”
Kellogg pointed to a memorable performance for Bradford during this past season.
“One of the most memorable milestones of her career came this past season when she surpassed 1,000 career points, a testament to her hard work and scoring ability,” Kellogg said.
Bradford reached the 1,000-point mark in Coffee’s win over Houston County this past season. She scored 14 points in the game to reach the milestone.
“Lexie’s achievement placed her among an elite group of players in the program’s history and really highlighted the dedication she brought to the game every day,” Kellogg said.
Bradford averaged 13 points per game this past year, along with 5.2 rebounds per game and 1.4 steals per game.
Kellogg said that Bradford’s impact on Coffee basketball goes beyond her stats.
“Lexie’s senior season will be remembered not just for her individual accomplishments, but also for the leadership and example she provided to her teammates,” Kellogg said.
Bradford has signed with Andrew College as she continues her basketball career at the collegiate level.
