Lanier County infielder Kendrick Noble, a senior, went 4-for-7 at the plate for the Bulldogs, driving in a run, scoring a run, and drawing a walk to help Lanier County to its third consecutive GHSA Class 1A-Division II state championship.
Gordon Lee pitcher Maddox Millard, a senior, threw for seven innings in Game 1 of the GHSA Class 1A-Division I state championship series against Vidalia, allowing just two runs, one earned, on five hits while striking out eight batters to lead the Trojans to a 3-2 win.
Morgan County pitcher Caylem Richardson, a senior, threw for eight innings against Pierce County in the GHSA Class 2A state championship series, allowing just one run and two hits while striking out 14 batters to lead the Bulldogs to the state title.
Lanier County pitcher Grant Gano, a senior, pitched 6.1 innings against ECI in the GHSA Class 1A-Division II state title series, allowing two runs, one earned, while striking out 12 batters to help lead the Bulldogs to their third straight state championship.
