After a sluggish start to the season, Peach County’s basketball team closed out the regular season with 13 wins in their last 14 games, including handing Sumter County one of its only two losses. Much of this success has been in large part due to the performances of senior point guard Temarius Mathis, who averages 29.4 points per game and over six assists per game as well. With Mathis at the helm, the Trojans could be very dangerous in a loaded 3A playoff bracket. How will Mathis perform in the playoffs, and will it be enough for his team to make a deep playoff run?
