Here are our top 10 performers from recent action in the 2026 Georgia high school girls basketball season.
Etowah point guard Savannah Aparicio, a junior, scored 13 points, and with her efforts she reached 1,000 career points in the Lady Eagles’ 53-25 win over Walton this past Friday.
Lanier power forward and center Michelle Ezumah, a junior, has been a major force in the paint for the Lanier Longhorns girls basketball team in January, with nine or more rebounds in her team’s past five games. On Friday, she led Lanier to a 60-52 win over Gainesville with 16 points, 13 rebounds, four blocks, and two steals.
Starr’s Mill point guard Sophia Olson, a senior, enjoyed big performances this past week in helping her team to wins over Northside Columbus and McIntosh. This past Saturday, Olson had a double-double with 10 points, 13 assists, six rebounds, and four steals against McIntosh. Then against Northside, she scored 14 points with nine assists and four rebounds. Starr’s Mill is now 17-2 on the season.
Telfair County’s Ty’Kristiany Jones scored a team-high 24 points to lead Telfair to a 59-51 win over Wheeler County Saturday night.
Lamar County center and forward Ella Bleu Leverett, a junior, led her team in scoring with 16 points, six rebounds, two assists, and one blocked shot to pace her squad in their 65-30 win over Social Circle.
Toombs County forward Arianna Hill, a senior, had a 14-point performance for the Lady Bulldogs in a Saturday afternoon game at Dublin this past Saturday. Before that, she scored 21 points and pulled down 19 rebounds against Swainsboro to add to her 1,000 career points at Toombs.
Calvary Day guard Hephzibah Wilson, a junior, came up with a stellar defensive effort in the Lady Cavaliers’ 36-18 win over Islands Friday night.
Athens Christian’s Marlene Mbilima led her team in scoring with 21 points in the Lady Eagles’ 60-41 win over George Walton.
Athens Christian’s Josi Vaughn scored 31 points in ACS’ 69-49 win earlier against Lakeview.
Lowndes guard Kayla Jackson, a senior, led the Vikettes to a big region victory over the Tift County Lady Devils with her fourth double-double of the season with 19 points and 10 rebounds to give Lowndes a 49-42 win.
