Dalton QB Caine Woods Among Top Performers in Week 4 of 2025 Georgia High School Football Season

Here are our top 10 performers from Week 4 of the 2025 Georgia high school football season.

Top Offensive Performances

Deerfield-Windsor wide receiver Gabe Daniel had eight receptions for 101 yards with two touchdowns to lead the Knights to a 28-8 win over SGA last week.

Toombs County quarterback Joseph Owens completed 20-of-27 pass attempts for 387 yards passing with four touchdowns against Class 5A Rome Friday night.

Valdosta running back Marquis Fennell had nine receptions for 122 yards while also rushing for 81 yards and two touchdowns to help lead the Cats to a 21-14 win over Tampa Jesuit.

Dalton quarterback Caine Woods, a sophomore, completed 18-of-30 passes for 328 yards and four touchdowns versus Rabun County.

Walton athlete Nori Thompson had 30 carries for 120 yards rushing while also catching four passes for 48 yards and a touchdown to help the Raiders defeat Norcross 24-21.

Top Defensive Performances

Callaway linebacker Xae Anderson, a senior, had 11 tackles, including two tackles for loss; had a fumble recovery; forced a strip fumble; and had a pass breakup to lead the Cavaliers’ defensive effort against Cook in their 17-3 win.

Buford athlete Ty Green had a pick-six interception return for a touchdown, had a 63-yard punt return for a touchdown, and rushed for two touchdowns to help Buford to a home win over Roswell.

Richmond Hill linebacker Jaylon Deal had 10 tackles, including two sacks, to pace the Wildcats’ defense to a win over Everglades last week.

Collins Hill defensive lineman Deuce Geralds had nine tackles, including three tackles for loss; one sack; and one forced fumble to help lead the Eagles’ defensive effort against Parkview.

Top Special Teams Performances

Collins Hill kicker Phillip Bonacci was successful on 3-of-4 field goal attempts, connecting from 35 yards, 28 yards, and 24 yards out. He was also a perfect 3-for-3 on extra-point attempts. Six of his eight kickoffs were touchbacks, with one kickoff being a squib kick. He also made one tackle on special teams after a kickoff. His two punts were downed at the 20-yard line and the 14-yard line, with no return.
