Spend any time with Sandalwood quarterback Jeff Sims, and you’ll soon learn that there’s a lot more to him than just being one of the best high school quarterbacks in the country this season.
Sims is physically gifted at 6 feet 4 inches and 205 pounds, and he’s still growing. In the last year alone he’s added an inch and 30 pounds to his solid frame. The soreness in his knees is an indication there’s potential for more growth, and it’s possible he could be playing at Florida State a year from now with an NFL-like physique of 6 feet 5 inches and 220 pounds.
