AHSAA Class 4A Elite 8 Matchup Predictions
We make our predictions for which teams will make the AHSAA Class 4A Elite 8.
The Class 4A playoffs this season will arguably be one of the most star-studded in Alabama, with three of the top recruits in the state taking center stage.
Defending 4A state champion Handley returns talent headlined by First-Team All-State running back, Tae Meadows, while 4A runner-up, Gordo, should be talented once again. The Green Wave are lead by First-Team All-State quarterback, Tanner Bailey. Despite the many talented teams in Class 4A, it’s easy to see why Handley and Gordo are an easy pick to meet in the state championship game once again.
A few teams such as Anniston and Williamson could make surprise deep runs, while we could see a quarterfinal rematch between Gordo and West Limestone, a game in which Gordo won 48-13 a year ago.
