Top 10 Cornerbacks Entering 2026 Georgia High School Football Season

Here are our choices for the top 10 cornerbacks entering the 2026 Georgia high school football season.

This was one of the tougher position rankings to do with so many great corners in Georgia high school football.

Yes, there will be some really solid cornerbacks left out, but after looking at everyone from top to bottom, here are the top 10. To be honest, there’s not a whole lot of difference between No. 1 and No. 10.

1. Montravious Clay | Lee County | C/O 2028

2. Tyler Boyd | Carrollton | C/O 2028

Lee County’s Montravious Clay and Carrollton’s Tyler Boyd are both Class of 2028 corners who are already elite players. They are each among the best cover men in the state and a big reason why each of their teams are among the highest rated heading into the 2026 season.

“Even though he is only a junior, Montravious will be a three-year starter for us,” Lee County head coach Dean Fabrizio said. “He has elite coverage skills and showcased his speed this past track season by taking fifth in the state in the 100-meter event.”

Both Boyd and Clay hold multiple college offers.

3. Aamaury Fountain | Dodge County | C/O 2027

Aamaury Fountain is a four-star rated cornerback and is the highest rated Class of 2027 cornerback by Rivals with a 95 score. He has committed to Florida.

4. Nathan Holston | Sandy Creek | C/O 2028

Nathan Holston is a big reason for Sandy Creek’s undefeated state championship season of 2025. The junior will have two more seasons to help the Patriots win a lot more games and a chance at another state title.

5. Jai’lil Goley | Gainesville | C/O 2028

6. Bryce Willingham | North Atlanta | C/O 2028

7. Franck Atangana | Dalton | C/O 2028

The next three ranked cornerbacks are also members of the Class of 2028.

Jai’lil Goley of Gainesville, Bryce Willingham of North Atlanta, and Franck Atangana of Dalton are all preparing for their junior seasons and they’ll each make life tough for opposing quarterbacks and receivers.

Goley transferred from Hebron Christian to Gainesville this offseason, Willingham has been a First Team All-Region selection as a freshman and sophomore at North Atlanta, and Franck Atangana is one of the Southeast’s most coveted cornerbacks with the Dalton Catamounts. All three are four-stars heading into their junior seasons.

8. Bryce Woods | Woodward Academy | C/O 2027

Bryce Woods of Woodward Academy is a four-star cornerback who will head into his senior season with a commitment to Virginia Tech.

9. Nash Johnson III | McEachern | C/O 2027

Nash Johnson III of McEachern is part of a talented Indians defensive backfield for head coach Kareem Reid that includes seven players with Power Four offers. This elite cornerback may be the best of them all, with a commitment to Auburn as he heads into his senior season.

10. Kelvin Millington | North Oconee | C/O 2027

Kelvin Millington of North Oconee has been called a “freakshow” of an athlete, and the senior will be taking that freakish talent to South Carolina following the 2026 season with the Titans.
