Top Overall Performers
Carrollton RB Cam Wood had 23 carries for 173 yards and 3 TD’s to lead the Trojans to a 34-14 win over Grayson
Bowdon ATH Kaiden Prothro had 4 TD receptions, 2 Interceptions, and a fumble recovery, on a night when he became the Georgia high school career record holder for most career TD receptions with 63 total
Top Offensive Performers
Thomas County Central RB Deuce Lawrence had 24 carries for 107 yards rushing with 1 rushing TD, and returned a kickoff 99 yards for another TD in the Yellow Jackets win over Woodward Academy
Burke County QB Sean Vandiver scored 6 TD’s and had 280 yards of offense to lead the Bears to a quarterfinal win over Rockmart
Roswell WR Wills Campbell had 5 receptions for 230 yards receiving and 3 Touchdowns to lead Roswell to a 42-35 win over Sequoyah in the Class 5A quarterfinals
Hebron Christian RB Devon Caldwell rushed for 351 yards with 6 TD’s to lead the Lions to a 63-30 win over Prince Avenue Christian
Valdosta RB Marquis Fennell had 24 carries for 187 yards rushing with 2 TD’s plus 57 yards receiving with 1 receiving TD to lead the Cats offense against Walton
Top Defensive Performers
Pepperell RB/DB Madoc Garcia had 7 tackles and 2 interceptions, including a pick 6 for the Dragons in their win over Rabun County
Top Special Teams Performers
Marist Kicker Tyler Baradel connected on all 3 FG attempts including his 34 yard attempt as time expired to lift the War Eagles to a 23-20 win over North Oconee in the 4A Quarterfinals
Buford Kicker Andrew Ivanciuc connected on FG’s of 48, 43, and 39 yards to give Buford a 9-0 halftime lead over Douglas County last week. He was perfect on both extra point attempts, and two of his punts were downed inside Douglas County’s own two-yard line.
