2025 Georgia High School Football Game Predictions: Week 10

Phil Jones gives his score predictions for the top six games being played in Week 10 of the 2025 Georgia high school football season.

Hillgrove vs. McEachern

What a battle this one will be. It’s a battle of two red-hot teams who are both undefeated at 7-0 overall and 4-0 in Region 3-7A.

Hillgrove has recorded an incredible four shutout wins in a row, and the Hawks’ defense has not allowed a point in five of their past six wins.

McEachern continues to impress so far in the 2025 Georgia high school football season with seven straight wins, including last week’s 51-14 win over Pebblebrook. The Indians’ defense has also played lights-out so far in 2025, with two shutouts, including a 21-0 blanking of North Cobb in Week 2.

Get ready for another big game for both teams.

Phil’s Pick: McEachern 33, Hillgrove 21

Brookwood vs. Peachtree Ridge

This key Region 7-6A battle pits the Peachtree Lions of head coach Matt Helmrich against the Brookwood Broncos in Snellville, Georgia. This will be the first home game for the Broncos in over a month, as they’ve been away for their past three games, including a 57-7 region win at Meadowcreek two weeks ago.

Peachtree Ridge is coming off a tough loss at home two weeks ago to North Gwinnett 45-14. It was only the second loss of the year for the Lions after winning five straight.

Both teams enter this week’s big region clash at 5-2 overall and 3-1 in the region, so this could determine the region title and No. 1 seed for the first round of the Class 6A state playoffs.

Both teams, as well as the entire region, were off last week.

Phil’s Pick: Peachtree Ridge 28, Brookwood 21

Houston County vs. Coffee

Both teams were off last week as part of the region’s bye. Coffee’s last game was against Lee County, where the Trojans of Douglas, Georgia, fell to the Trojans of Leesburg, Georgia. Houston County last played an away game, albeit right down the road at McConnell Talbert Stadium in Warner Robins, Georgia, where they defeated the home team Northside Eagles.

Houston County is playing as well as anyone in the state so far and is off to its best start in the history of the program with a 7-0 record.

Coffee is seeking to upset the Houston County Bears and improve on its 1-1 region record. The Bears will be getting everybody’s best from this point forward.

Can they hold off Coffee head coach Mike Coe’s squad?

Phil’s Pick: Houston County 40, Coffee 21

Fitzgerald vs. Berrien

The Berrien Rebels have found new life this season under the direction of first-year head coach Jackson Dean. They are coming off a tough loss at home against the top-ranked Worth County Rams last week but are hoping to bounce back as they travel to Jaycee Stadium to battle Fitzgerald head coach Wesley Tankersley’s Purple Hurricane in a key Region 1 matchup in Class 1A-Division I.

The first-year head coach had his biggest win yet since taking over the Purple Hurricane when he and his Fitzgerald team went into Veterans Stadium and upset Thomasville 24-21.

Now, can Dean rally his Rebels to pull off an upset of their own?

Phil’s Pick: Fitzgerald 35, Berrien 21

Jasper County vs. Social Circle

One of the most overlooked coaching performances of the 2025 season is in Monticello, Georgia, where Ashley Henderson has pulled off one of the best coaching jobs in the state. In fact, what Henderson has done in turning around a Jasper County football program since he arrived in 2022 has been phenomenal. The program had not had a winning season in 20 years when he arrived. They had not hosted or won a home playoff game in 33 years. The year before Henderson arrived, the 2021 team finished 0-10.

All that has changed under Henderson.

He has this year’s team undefeated at 7-0 and getting prepared to take on what may be their toughest game of the year as they host 4-2 Social Circle. Both teams are unbeaten in region play, with Jasper County at 3-0.

A win by Henderson’s team puts them one step closer to a region title, something the Hurricanes could only dream about before Henderson’s arrival.

Hard to pick against Henderson and his team at this point.

Phil’s Pick: Jasper County 28, Social Circle 21

LaGrange vs. Troup County

The Troup County Tigers are undefeated at 7-0 overall and 5-0 in region play coming off a 38-21 win last week against Trinity Christian. Head coach Tanner Glisson’s Troup County squad will be facing county rival LaGrange at Callaway Stadium in what may be the biggest game for the Tigers in years. Last season, LaGrange won easily in a 49-21 blowout on the way to a semifinals appearance, where they lost to Jefferson.

The LaGrange Grangers are 7-1 overall and 5-1 in region play after their 28-21 win last week over Mary Persons.

This is a big one not just because of the rivalry factor but because there is a region title and No. 1 seed possibly on the line.

You can bet Callaway Stadium is going to be packed by fans on both sides for this one.

Phil’s Pick: Troup County 27, LaGrange 24

That’s our 2025 Georgia high school football season predictions for Week 10.
