Top 10 Wide Receivers Entering the 2025 Georgia High School Football Season

Trying to pick out the 10 best wideouts in a state with so many talented receivers was very tough, but I like the group we ended up with. Here are our Top 10 wide receivers entering the 2025 Georgia high school football season.

1. Aaron Gregory | Douglas County | C/O 2026

2. Devin Carter | Douglas County | C/O 2026

Leading the way at the top two spots are teammates Aaron Gregory and Devin Carter of Douglas County. Last season Gregory had 53 receptions for 914 yards while Carter caught 41 passes for 669 yards. They’re both four-star recruits who give their team one of the top receiving duos in the state.

3. Bubba Frazier | Benedictine | C/O 2026

Bubba Farzier is such a great athlete that he actually led his Benedictine team in rushing and receiving last season. However Notre Dame expects to utilize the four-star recruit in its offensive scheme after he graduates high school, they’ll surely take advantage of the skills of the player Benedictine’s head football coach described as a speed demon.

4. Jaden Upshaw | Lee County | C/O 2027

Coming in at No. 4 is Lee County junior Jaden Upshaw, whom Trojans head football coach Dean Fabrizio said was a player to keep an eye on last year.

“He is going to be a big-time wide receiver,” Fabrizio said in a conversation with me during spring practice prior to the 2024 season.

5. Craig Dandridge | Cambridge | C/O 2026

Craig Dandridge is part of another great receiving combo in the state. We spoke earlier about the duo of Carter and Gregory at Douglas County, but at Cambridge, head coach Tyler Jones has a couple of really good receivers who will make things tough on opposing secondaries in 2025. Although Hudson Cocchiara didn’t make our list of Top 10 wide receivers, he combined with teammate Dandridge for over 2,700 yards receiving in 2024. Together they make each other that much better.

Dandridge has committed to the University of Georgia, while Cocchiara is uncommitted at the time of writing.

6. Nalin Scott | McEachern | C/O 2026

Our No. 6 wide receiver is McEacher’s Nalin Scott, who recently flipped his commitment from Arizona State to Nebraska. The four-star recruit will be part of what should be an explosive offensive unit with one of our Top 10 running backs, Jayreon “JJ” Campbell.

7. Brady Marchese | Cartersville | C/O 2026

Brady Marchese is a three-star wide receiver from Cartersville and has committed to the University of Georgia. The senior is considered to be one of the state’s most underrated wide receivers and, because of that, has drawn comparisons to past UGA receivers Ladd McConkey and Landon Roldan, who were also considered to be under the radar at the time of their recruitments.

Marchese almost single-handedly led Cartersville to an upset over eventual state champion North Oconee, scoring three TDs against them in a 28-26 playoff loss.

8. Jaydon Dunbar | Thomas County Central | C/O 2026

9. George Lamons Jr. | Brooks County | C/O 2027

Sandwiched in between the two Thomas County Central receiving standouts is George Lamons Jr. of Brooks County. He’ll be trying to lead the Trojans back to the Class 1A-Division II state championship game this year, where they fell last season to eventual champion Bowdon.

10. Jabari Watkins | Thomas County Central | C/O 2027

Jayden Dunbar and Jabari Watkins are our second pair of teammates making our list of our Top 10 wide receivers entering the 2025 Georgia high school football season. Both Dunbar and Watkins play for Thomas County Central.

Dunbar is entering his senior season with a commitment to play for the Pitt Panthers following his last year with the Yellow Jackets. Watkins is still undecided, with two more seasons remaining at TCC.
