Florida High School Boys Basketball 7A-4A Top 25 – Updated 2.28.22
Entering the 2021-22 Florida High School Boys Basketball Final Four, the 7A-4A Top 25 receives its second to last update of the year, with multiple new teams debuting.
In addition to multiple teams entering the rankings, teams such as Martin County, Ponte Vedra, and Lake Worth all saw rises due to big wins over the last two weeks. Among the teams who entered the top 25 this week, Class 6A’s Wharton headlines those eight teams at No. 14, while Pine Forest, Winter Haven, and Stranahan are among the highest ranked teams to enter this week.

With the 2021-22 Florida High School Boys Basketball Final Four set to begin this week, here are our updated 3A-1A Top 25 rankings entering the final week of the season.
While Orlando Christian Prep continues to hold the No. 1 overall ranking, four new teams rise into the top 5 this week, while four new teams also enter the rankings. Among those teams, Class 1A’s Hawthorne is the highest ranked of the group at No. 14, while Class 2A’s North Florida Educational is not far behind at No. 16.

With the 2021-22 Florida High School Boys Basketball state tournaments set to begin later this week, here is a look at the updated Class 7A-4A Top 25 entering the week.
Calvary Christian sees a small rise within the top 5, while yet another Class 4A team in North Broward Prep, were among the biggest risers of the week as the Eagles rose into the top 10. Four new teams enter the top 25 headlined by West Oaks Academy at No. 20, while Riverside-Jacksonville, one of the top overall teams in Class 5A, also enters at No. 22.

With the 2021-22 Florida High School Boys Basketball Class 3A-1A state tournaments set to begin later this week, here is a look at the updated Top 25 rankings.
Both Providence and First Baptist Academy saw notable rises into the top five in this week’s update, while others such as Cardinal Mooney, Westminster Academy, and Bradenton Christian also took big jumps. Four new teams enter the top 25 this week, headlined by Class 1A’s Altha at No. 20, as well as Class 3A’s Tampa Catholic at No.22.

Despite no changes within the Top 5 overall, this week’s Florida High School Boys Basketball 7A-4A Top 25 update brings a few notable takeaways as we approach the start of the 2021-22 playoffs.
Class 6A’s Martin County was the biggest riser of the week as the Tigers rose four spots into the Top 20, while others such as Miami Columbus, Andrew Jackson, and Lake Highland Prep all saw small rises within the Top 10. Three new teams also entered the Top 25 this week with Lakeland, Winter Haven, and St. Thomas Aquinas at No. ‘s 21-23, with the Dreadnaughts coming off an impressive last week with notable wins over two ranked teams in Winter Haven and Bartow.

This week’s Florida High School Boys Basketball 3A-1A Top 25 update saw multiple notable drops within the rankings, as well as a few teams in particular that continue to rise as we approach the 2021-22 playoffs.
Orlando Christian Prep holds onto the No. 1 spot, but Saint Andrew’s and Central Florida Christian each move up two spots behind the Warriors, as well as Class 1A’s Malone joining them having entered the Top 5. While others such as Bozeman and Newberry were also among the biggest risers of the week, three new teams also entered the Top 25 in this week’s update, headlined by a pair of Class 3A teams with John Carroll Catholic and Cardinal Mooney at 21-22.

As the holiday break has officially passed, the Florida High School Boys Basketball 7A-4A Top 25 gets its first update since mid-December.
The Top 3 overall remains unchanged in IMG, Montverde, and Dr. Phillips, with the Ascenders and Eagles set to meet on Monday in a rematch of a thrilling 65-64 IMG road win earlier this season. In addition to this, Miami Columbus, Andrew Jackson, and Lake Highland Prep were among this week’s biggest risers, while Calvary Christian also saw a rise into the Top 5 overall.
Two new teams also entered the Top 25 for the first time this season in Fleming Island and North Broward Prep, both of whom have cemented themselves as one of the top teams in each respective classification.

With the holidays having officially passed, we are essentially at the mid-way point of the 2021-22 Florida High School Boys Basketball season. Receiving its first update since mid-December, here is the updated 3A-1A Top 25 rankings.
Due to a slight drop from previous No. 2 Grandview Prep, the Top 5 saw a small rise from spots 2-5, while teams such as Trinity Catholic, First Baptist Academy, and Mount Dora Christian also saw significant rises in this week’s update. In addition to this, a total of six teams entered the Top 25 this week, headlined by Class 2A’s Sagemont at No. 15.
