A humble Chris Bosh published a letter on Sunday thanking the city of Miami for the motivation and support he has received throughout his career.
After Bosh’s struggle with blood clots in 2014-2016, the NBA player has not played for the Miami Heat since February of 2016. Last week the Heat waived the basketball player. Although Bosh could probably play for another team, getting medical clearance would not be easy or advised. The letter serves as a reflection on the positive times of Bosh’s career. Bosh writes, “I’ve learned how to dream again… how to appreciate the game of basketball and all the things I’ve experienced even more now… We went through life together Miami.” After a 13-season career as an NBA player, Bosh is now on to the next stage of his life, however he will always live in the game.
Goodbye and Thank You
