These four have bounced around as the top high school baseball team in the state of Florida, but which is actually the best? Each one has an excellent case to be called the best baseball team in Florida.
Jesuit has nine batters with a batting average of .300 or better, as well as a combined team ERA of 1.57.
Stoneman Douglas has scored the second-most runs of the group at 147 and is tied for the second-most homeruns with 13.
Calvary Christian has a team batting average of .334, as well as arguably the best pitcher in the country in senior Andrew Painter, who is 4-1 with a 0.56 ERA.
IMG has scored the most runs of the group by far at 178, as well as the most homeruns with 24.
These are clearly the four top teams in the state, and they’re among the top in the country. If you had to pick one, who would you say is the best baseball team in Florida?
