Yes, Auburn has signed six of the state’s Top 10 recruits. Ohio State is the next closest with two signees in the Top 10, while Oregon and Texas signed one each.
This is a significant class for Auburn head coach Hugh Freeze. Not only did Auburn sign a majority of the Top 10 in-state prospects, but the Alabama Crimson Tide did not land a single one.
Could this be a sign of things to come for recruiting in the state of Alabama going forward? Will the Yellowhammer State’s top 2026 prospects continue this trend next year by going to Auburn over Alabama?
