Opening day for Glynn Academy looked more like the opener for a Major League Baseball team with a packed house on hand to watch the Red Terrors christen their new facility on Brunswick’s south end.
But it was more than just parents, fans, and loyal alumni as many came out to get a glimpse of the facility’s namesake, St. Louis Cardinals ace Adam Wainwright.
