Like a lot of 17-year-olds, Valwood Valiants senior and defensive end Eli Joyner is pondering his future, undecided at this point. For some, it could be lack of motivation or a desire for the no-care days of high school to never end.
However, in Joyner’s case, the hesitation may be due to the unlimited choices that are staring him in the face and not knowing which one to reach out and take. For those who know Joyner, they know that no matter where life takes him, he’ll attack it with the same passion and vigor that he has shown against opposing ball carriers on Friday nights and in the classroom during the day.
