Gadiely Mendez-Andino is refreshingly honest. The 16-year-old, known as Gi Gi to friends and family, is a member of the Central High School Lady Red Devils basketball team. She is just a sophomore, but Mendez-Andino made the varsity last year and is one of coach Carolyn Wright’s rising stars on the team.
