While it may get undervalued, the kicking position can be the most important position on the field. Kickers are relied on to knock in extra points and make field goals when a team struggles to find the end zone. Here are the top returning kickers in Florida for 2021.
Will Bettridge is one of the best high school kickers in the country, according to 247Sports. The junior attends Gulliver Prep High School in Miami, Fla., and is rated as a two-star prospect while also ranking as the No. 2 kicker in the Class of 2022. This past season, Bettridge was near perfect with extra points, making 23 out of his 24 attempts, while also making eight out of his 12 field goal attempts, according to MaxPreps.
