Top 10 Tight Ends in the Country Returning in 2021

One of the more undervalued positions on the football field is the tight end. If you have a top tight end who is both a dominant pass catcher and blocker, it can be a real difference maker for your offense. While there are numerous worthy candidates, the top returning TE nationally in high school football for the 2021 season is Jake Johnson from Oconee County High (Georgia). Johnson is rated as a 4-star prospect, as well as the No. 1 ranked TE in the Class of 2022, according to 247Sports. The LSU commit finished the 2020 season just shy of 1,000 receiving yards, and was also selected as the Georgia Region 8-AAA Offensive Player of the Year, as well as MaxPreps First-Team All-State in Georgia at the TE position.
