Top 10 Georgia High School Volleyball Players

Along with our Top 10 rankings of the best Georgia high school volleyball teams, we also present to you the top individual players in the state.

Attempting to identify the 10 best high school volleyball players in Georgia was a difficult process. We realize some very deserving players are not included, but, taking our best shot, here are our Top 10.

1. Clara Bailey | Buford | C/O 2026

Leading our rankings is Buford senior Clara Bailey, who serves as the outside hitter for the Wolves. She announced her commitment to the University of Charlotte this summer.

2. Gracison Saylor | Calhoun | C/O 2026

Gracison Saylor is a Class of 2026 outside hitter for Calhoun’s Yellow Jackets and was last year’s Class 3A All-State Co-Player of the Year. She will be attending the University of Kentucky following her high school graduation. Saylor was also chosen as ITG Next’s August 2025 Georgia Female Athlete of the Month among four nominees.

3. Olivia Siskin | Pace Academy | C/O 2026

Pace Academy senior Olivia Siskin is our No. 3-ranked player and is a setter for the Knights. She plans to attend the University of Virginia following her high school career.

4. Jahan Lalli | Pope | C/O 2026

5. Gretchen Elcheizer | Pope | C/O 2026

A couple of players who have been instrumental in Pope’s success are Jahan Lalli and Gretchen Elcheizer. They have been a big part of two of Pope’s state championships, and are hoping to be a part of a third state title before they depart Pope High School. They are ranked as our No. 4 and No. 5 top players in our ranking of the top players in the state.

Lalli serves as team captain for the Greyhounds and is considered the team’s “quarterback,” according to head coach Erica Miller. The Pope senior recently committed to Rhode Island, where she’ll continue her volleyball career after high school.

Lalli’s teammate, Elcheizer, plays middle hitter for Miller’s squad and has committed to Franklin & Marshall University. Lalli and Elcheizer are four-year starters for Pope.

6. Hannah Nicholson | North Cobb | C/O 2026

Our bottom half ranking of the top 10 players begins with Hannah Nicholson of North Cobb. She plays libero for coach Stephen Sansing’s Warriors squad. Hannah recently reached 1,500 career digs, placing her second all-time in North Cobb history. She has committed to Radford University following her senior season at North Cobb.

7. Kailey Leonard | Alpharetta | C/O 2026

Kailey Leonard is one of the few returners from Alpharetta’s two-time state championship squad, which claimed the 6A state title for the past two seasons, in 2023 and 2024. She’s back for her senior season to try to lead the Raiders to a third straight state title. She’s committed to Tulane University.

8. Riley Huff | Cartersville | C/O 2026

Riley Huff is a senior middle hitter for Cartersville and has committed to play for Jacksonville State after finishing up her senior season.

9. Marissa Jones | Woodward Academy | C/O 2027

Marissa Jones is a setter for Woodward Academy, and the junior was a candidate for the 2025 Gatorade Player of the Year in Volleyball. She is considered one of the top players in the 2027 class, statewide and nationally.

10. Kari Knotts | Lovett | C/O 2029

Rounding out our top 10 is Kari Knotts of Lovett. Knotts is a phenomenal freshman outside hitter for the Lions volleyball team, and is touted as one of the best spikers in the state. Standing at 6 feet 3 inches, Knotts can be devastating at the net.
