Thompson Football Team “Most Followed” on MaxPreps
While Hoover might dominate the Alabama high school football scene on Twitter, amassing over 13,000 followers, another top program in the state can now claim the title of “most followed” on MaxPreps. Coming out on top in the Yellowhammer State is Thompson High. The website ran the numbers on which high school football teams had the most views on its team page, combined with the number of followers over the past year of May 2020-May 2021. The defending two-time 7A state champs beat out second place Central Phenix City. The overall top team is Mater Dei (Calif.).
