Sandy Creek Boys Basketball Has Nothing But Blowouts

Sometimes, it takes a tough loss to find the right mindset. After a 2021-opening loss to Newton at home, the Sandy Creek boys basketball team turned on the jets.

They have won their last 17 games by an average margin of 33.3 points. They cruised through region competition, playing with both a suffocating defense and an up-tempo offense.

Only three teams managed to stay within 20 points of the Patriots, but it was not nearly enough to make a dent in their impressive resume.

They enter the playoffs with a 24-4 record and a unanimous No. 1 ranking in Class 3A (MaxPreps, Sandy Spiel, and other sources).

It is certain that Sandy Creek’s dominance will be on display throughout the upcoming boys basketball playoffs.
