Talent mixed with hard work makes a wonderful recipe for success. Essence Cody is talented and a hard worker on and off the court. Standing at 6’3”, Cody is an eight-grader at Valdosta Middle School who plays for the middle school and high school teams. She was one of just three middle school players selected for the Ball N Prep USA Select Futures roster to play against the Rise Canada Select team this past year. She has received interest from North Carolina and the University of Florida along with many other schools. She was also named the 2017-18 ITG Next Female Youth Athlete of the Year.
