Some great basketball players have come out of Alabama in the past 3 to 4 years. The most notable is Kira Lewis Jr from Hazel Green who currently in is his rookie season in the NBA with the New Orleans Pelicans. Two players are currently in their senior seasons at Alabama in Jemison’s John Petty and Pelham’s Alex Reese. Arguably the greatest recruit out of high school was Mountain Brook’s Trendon Watford who is currently in his sophomore season at LSU. Rounding out the list is dominant big man Garrison Brooks from Auburn who is currently a senior at North Carolina.
