Last year with the future of the football program up in the air Andrew Jackson again went winless last season. Jackson is one of two programs in the city of Jacksonville to be around since 1927, so everyone hopes they can get back to be a respectable football team.
There was only one game this season that Andrew Jackson High school scored over 10 points. Although they are an independent school and are not eligible for the playoffs it is important for them to get their program back on their feet. A lack of players on the team is a big issue for Andrew Jackson High. They hope they can build their team back to something they can be proud to talk about again. This is going to be a long road ahead but when the first kickoff happens in game one that is all that matters.
