With Valdosta High School as the winningest program in the country, Lowndes High School as one of Georgia’s top programs year after year in the state’s largest classification, Valwood as a multiple state championship winner in GISA, Georgia Christian continuing to show its commitment to football, and VSU shaking up Saturdays, it’s easy to see that football is a commitment in this town.
