Jason Patterson – Sneads
Week 8 of Florida high school football action saw a monster game from Patterson, who rushed for 301 yards and 3 touchdowns on 19 attempts in Sneads’ 43-14 win over Lighthouse Private Christian Academy.
Zac Katz – True North Classical Academy
Katz enjoyed a big night in the Titans’ 34-33 win over Somerset Academy Silver Palms, completing 23-of-27 passes for 356 yards and 4 touchdowns. Katz also rushed for 8 yards on one attempt.
Jace Grant – Aucilla Christian
Grant rushed for 236 yards and 4 touchdowns on 24 carries in Aucilla Christian’s 34-16 win over Harvest Community. Grant also made 9 tackles on defense.
JP Pickles – North Florida Christian
Pickles completed 6-of-8 passes for 125 yards and 3 touchdowns in the Eagles’ 55-0 win over Rocky Bayou Christian. The junior also rushed for 65 yards and a touchdown on three attempts.
Blake Wallace – Spanish River
Wallace had 6 receptions for 106 yards and 3 touchdowns in Spanish River’s 35-0 win over Hialeah-Miami Lakes.
Tayshaun Balmir – Pasco
Balmir rushed for 174 yards and 2 touchdowns on 24 carries in Pasco’s 28-16 loss to Zephyrhills.
Jordan Bean – Sandalwood
Bean rushed for 170 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries in Sandalwood’s 33-7 victory over Atlantic Coast.
Terrelle Weathers – Wekiva
Weathers rushed for 166 yards on 9 carries and caught a pass for 5 yards in Wekiva’s 34-7 win over Horizon.
Tae Floyd – Forest
Floyd compiled 6 tackles, 3 TFL, 3 sacks, 2 quarterback hurries, 2 fumble recoveries, and 1 forced fumble in Forest’s 35-6 win over South Lake. The senior also rushed for 44 yards on one carry.
Drew Spinogatti – Bishop Moore
Spinogatti compiled 15 tackles, one TFL, and a forced fumble in Bishop Moore’s 31-2 win over Tohopekaliga.
