Lowndes Guard Kayla Jackson Among Top 10 Performers Recently in the 2026 Georgia High School Girls Basketball Season

Here are our top 10 performers from recent action in the 2026 Georgia high school girls basketball season.

Lowndes guard Kayla Jackson had a big night against Camden County scoring 24 points while pulling down 10 rebounds, coming away with four steals and two blocks to lead the Vikettes to a 54-50 win to remain undefeated in Region 1-6A.

Hardaway’s Rhianna Boynton returned to action this week after suffering an ACL injury and scored 19 points with two assists while adding 14 rebounds, six steals, and five blocks to lead the Lady Hawks to a 66-58 win over Carver-Columbus.

Screven County’s A’Chanti Middleton, a sophomore, scored 16 points while grabbing nine rebounds and coming away with two steals in her team’s win over Statesboro.

Bryan County’s Layla Mincey scored 20 points, grabbed eight rebounds, and had four blocks with three assists to lead her team to a win over Claxton, ensuring the team its sixth straight 20-plus-win season.

Lowndes power forward Laila Foster had a big night in the Vikettes’ 72-34 win over cross-town rival Valdosta with 26 points, 12 rebounds, four blocked shots, and four steals.

Groves’ Aniyah Wright scored 30 points against Southeast Bulloch to lead the Lady Rebels to a dominant 77-13 win. Wright reached 1,028 career points with her outstanding performance.

Marietta guard Leah DeWitt had yet another stellar performance with a 35-point night to lead the Lady Blue Devils to their 12th straight victory in a 76-42 win over Walton.

Northwest Whitfield’s Sadie Spurlock, a freshman, led the Lady Bruins in back-to-back wins recently with a 15-point performance along with 15 rebounds in a 42-33 win over LaFayette and a 13-point performance in their 64-51 win over Gilmer County.

Sequoyah guard Carly Bass, a junior, scored 28 points and pulled down seven rebounds and added three assists and three steals to lead the Lady Chiefs to a 74-48 win over Sprayberry last Friday.

Rabun County’s Millie Southards, a freshman, scored 16 points, had six assists, five rebounds, and had four steals in the Lady Cats’ 58-41 win over Athens Academy Friday night.
