Cecily Livingston has been on a wrestling team since her middle school days. Now, as a senior at Berrien High School, she has learned to value the great qualities that come with being a part of a team, which she hopes will continue as she moves her athletic career into the collegiate path.
Livingston described the teams she has been on as more like family, a strong support system that she can always count on, especially when it came to adapting to the physically challenging sport. She said this was the case because she realized that not only is wrestling about having strength, it is also technical.
