Iverson Hooks Leads Pike Road Over McGill-Toolen 76-51

Arguably the most eye-popping final score from week one in Alabama high school football came from a meeting between 5A’s Pike Road and 6A’s McGill-Toolen, a matchup in which the Patriots won 76-51. Points were a plenty for both teams in this contest with no star on the field bigger than Pike Road quarterback Iverson Hooks.

Hooks dominated the contest completing five-of-six passes for 219 yards and three touchdowns, while also rushing the ball 16 times for 307 yards and five more scores.

After missing part of the 2020 season due to injury, Hooks announced his return in a big way Friday night accounting for 526 total yards and eight combined touchdowns in an impressive road win for Pike Road.
