In the Game Sports Network hosted its second annual Northeast Florida Fall Athletic Awards Banquet on January 24, 2016.
The event was hosted on the Salt Life Food Shack’s rooftop in St. Augustine, Florida. Although temperatures were cool, guests bundled up and enjoyed the venue from the ocean backdrop to the delicious wings and dips served by the Salt Life staff.
Michael Adams, MD, and orthopedic surgeon with Baptist Health was the guest speaker, and he undoubtedly provided guests with an encouraging speech that will stick with athletes in attendance throughout there college and professional careers.
The banquet recognized boys and girls golf, boys and girls swim and dive, boys and girls cross country, volleyball, and football players. Ninety athletes in total received awards.
In the Game would like to thank everyone who traveled to St. Augustine to attend and a very special thank you to Baptist Health & Jacksonville Orthopaedic Institute for sponsoring yet another successful event. We look forward to celebrating Winter and Spring sport athletes later this year.
