GHSA Class 1A-Private Elite 8 Preseason Predictions
We make our predictions for who will make it to the Elite Eight in GHSA Class 1A-Private.
This may be one of the more underrated classifications in Georgia high school football to keep an eye on in 2021. Several great teams will be represented in the Elite Eight, including ELCA and Prince Avenue Christian.
2020 ended up leading both teams in vastly different directions as the Wolverines won the state championship and the Chargers saw an end to their streak of five consecutive state championship wins. Both teams met in last year’s quarterfinals matchup, but PACS blew the top off of ELCA, winning 38-0.
PACS will be without star quarterback Brock Vandagriff this time around, so it remains to be seen how they will adjust.
